My boys playing all entranced with the new LeapPad Platinum and Imagicards.
Now that school is in session we are looking for fun ways to reinforce what the kids are learning in school. My oldest son is beginning to read but I want him to think of it as something fun to do rather than a chore or work. I have always loved Leap Frog products so I was thrilled when we got the chance to try the LeapPad Platinum.
The LeapPad Platinum is the premium tablet from LeapFrog. It is the newest and fastest tablet and is designed to be sturdy and durable for kids to use with ease. It has a shatter-safe screen and a wrap around bumper so its built to last.
Kid Safe Web – using the Wi-Fi on the LeapPad allows the kids to search in a kid-safe browser. I don’t know if your kids have discovered youtube but I am shocked at the weird things my kid stumbles upon and the inappropriate videos made with kids characters that they can easily click on after viewing their usual videos. With the LeapPad I know that they are browsing age appropriate content. PHEW!
Imagicards –
Imagicards are interactive paper cards that bring characters to life with the snap of a picture. They come with a downloadable learning game as well as a play mat to use for off screen games. My three year olds are obsessed with the Paw Patrol game and are equally in love with the app as they are playing with the cards on the mat!
Overall, I am really impressed and excited about the LeapPad Platinum and the LeapFrog Imagicards. All of my boys were so excited to use it so its a great tool for kids ages 3-8. I am excited to see them learn and grow using this new “toy”.
