Weekly Weakness

 

Warmer weather is slowly creeping in and I love the fresh new feel it gives me.  I love spring!  I love the feeling of newness and that adventure awaits.  I also find spring is when I redefine my tastes in music, movies, clothing, and media, often going for lightness in everything.  Carefree, light music, light layers of clothing, light beach reads and such.  Well right now my weekly weakness is all about lightness.

1. Gingham Midi Skirt Gingham is huge this spring and I love the classic look of a midi skirt. Paired with a simple white tee, some sandals and a big floppy hat and you can”t go wrong.

2. YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick Pink in Devotion I”ve been searching for the perfect pink lipstick, not too fuchsia, not too red, and I think this is it!

3. Women”s Nike Free I”ve been needing a new pair of athletic shoes for causal wear, not for actual working out.  I love these classic black Nike mobile casino Frees that would look chic while I”m trudging through Alaskan terrain in just a few weeks (EEEK!).  After the trip I could wear them to work with my scrubs.

I”m a sucker for a clean romance novel with a bit of quirk and this ones seems like it would fit the bill.  Plus, I love anything Jane Austin related.

The forever 16 side of me freaking loves this song.  I can picture cruising 17th Street in my skin tight capris and halter top with my friends blaring this song while waving at cute boys as we pass by.  Oh to be young, wild, and free again.
