Ballerina Fashionista: Coachella

I’ve never been to Coachella before but I would go in a heartbeat not only for the music, but all the cute festival clothing too.  I mean Coachella style is like hippie meets chic and though it’s not normally my go to, I find it’s rather comfortable to dress this way.  Plus, it’s a thrown on style that others will scratch their heads at wondering how you look so casually amazing.  However, if you are anything like me, you might find that popular Coachella style is quite risqué and not appropriate for my age group (or perhaps ever).  So are you dying to try your hand at Coachella style but want to do so in a modest way?  Follow my cues.

Anything with fringe equals hippie to me so look for fringe vests or tops.  I find fringe on shorts a little reminiscent of something else down there so I pass on those.

Loose and flowey if done right lends itself to boho.

And accessorize the crap out of your outfit!  Think large floppy hats, crowns, gold jewelry, and delicate chains.

I threw this black dress in with my latest order from Tilly’s and knew it would pair perfectly with my floral kimono.  Add a floppy hat, a long pendant necklace, and some gold bangles.  BOOM!  Coachella style.
