Rough around the edges comes to us from the same author as Pride Vs. Prejudice and Working It Out.  So, I knew I was in for some sweet entertainment and it did not disappoint.

Two people are each left after a spouse passed away, but the circumstances of each marriage left them in completely different situations.  A single father struggling to make ends meet and provide the emotional support girls need.  She is relieved and isolated after an emotionally abusive and controlling relationship us brought to its tragic end. Both are leery of getting into a relationship but for completely different reasons

I loved reading this story, and enjoyed how the characters dealt with their conflicts.  It seemed reasonable and realistic.  I wish we got more of the back story on the mans marriage and how his wife died.  Also I had a hard time keeping the secondary characters and their relationships to each other clear.

Entertaining and sweet.
