My dad just celebrated his birthday and I was more than happy to help my mom prepare. We went to the store to grab a few things and came home to make daddy some delicious food. Ribs, baked potatoes, a garden salad, and french bread were on the menu for dinner. Dad had been begging for brownies to no avail the week before so we opted to make those instead of cake for dessert, from scratch of course. To end the night, I went to my Grandma’s with my younger siblings while mom and dad went to the movies.
I love lazy days at home, baking delicious desserts with my mom. For some reason, whenever I bake, I want to look as sweet as the food I’m making.
