I know it’s early Ladies, but I think we all know it’s only like 80 shopping days til Christmas…sorry!
I hate being pushed into the holidays waaaaay too early, but I do like to plan ahead. Especially for people who may be ‘difficult’ to buy for. For example, picky I mean men people who have specific interests or love gear/gadgets/items I don’t really know much about.

Ok, this is a good one Ladies…
In a recent survey conducted amongst Canadian men between 18 and 40, it was revealed that for many body parts, concerning hair vs no hair, it’s…well…pretty evenly split:
- When it comes to chest hair, 52% of men think the unshaven look is the most attractive grooming style for them, while the remaining prefer a trimmed look (23%) or clean shaven chest (23%).
- For under arms, 51% dig the natural look, while 28% prefer trimmed under arms, and only 20% favouring the clean shaven underarm lookConsensus came to a close split when asked about their back hair grooming style: 43% think the unshaven back is most attractive on them, while 44% prefer a clean shaven back.
- When it comes to hair “down there”, majority of men (50%) go for the trimmed look, while 28% choose the clean shaven look, and 19% preferring the unshaven, “au naturale” look.

Ha ha! I think many of us have definite opinions on this. Whether it’s simply personal preference or practical reasons. My own husband is a long time cyclist and shaves his legs most of the summer. And let me tell you, there is nothing wrong with a smooth, muscular man leg.

So, I don’t have a beard (a couple of random chin hairs do not constitute a BEARD, ok), but I did want to see what it was like to use an electric razor. And I do have legs and underarms.
Shaving with the Philips Shaver Series 9000 was a FANTABULOUS experience! You can shave wet or dry depending on preference, but I loved being able to grab the shaver for a quick touch up around my knees or underarms without that dry shave burn you get from a reg blade when you are in a rush before date night. For example. *ahem*
My Dad said one of his fave features is, YOU NEVER GET RAZOR BURN. Imagine that! Your skin stays soft and intact. No nicks. Ever. And you still get a clean, close shave. All the better to hug you with Grandpa!
