Ballerina Fashionista – Denim and Chiffon

Hello again Darlings!  It’s been a while.  I had a whirlwind month of May with a ton of last minute school assignments and my ballet theatre’s production of Cinderella.  Then a week after school ended, my family went on a cruise to Alaska!  Keep checking back to see photos, packing lists, and a trip summary.

Well, is there anything better than the pairing of denim and chiffon?  I doubt it.  It just screams classy casual which basically describes my style.

This dress is just pure perfection.  It looks great with a pair of strappy sandals for easy style or a pair of booties for some edge.  I decided to go with a western flare and wore my hair in a braid with a great pair of boots.

I’m not particularly fond of the high/low trend but it works with this dress.  I like that the front of the dress hits above my knee but the back of the skirt is low which makes it more modest and easier to move around in.  The skirt is lined but is light colored so keep that in mind when choosing undergarments.

 The cap sleeves, tie at waist, and subtle rhinestone buttons polishes off the dress.

Now that summer is here, dresses are a major staple in my wardrobe.  I’m so excited to be free of my school uniform for a few months!
