Ballerina Fashionista: Snapback

Although I would classify my style as girly girl with a bit of preppy and a dash of boho, the truth is sometimes I break out of my usual style and try something new in the form of casual wear.  In the last year I have been getting into the hat game and just purchased my first snapback hat from Tilly’s.  While on the site, I found a few clearance deals too good to pass up, one of them being this baseball tee.

Is it just me or is there anything more exciting than going out to get your mail and finding a brown box with your name on it?  I THINK NOT!  This tee and snapback were perfect for a casual Saturday at home.

The tee is lightweight and great for a spring afternoon.  Oh, can I just say I’m praying for rain so our grass will turn green instead of staying this ugly brown?  My Great Grandpa had a thing for Native American history and made a full headdress and leather outfit, beads, feathers and all.  He would put it on and we would all dance around “hey-ho”ing and saying random Native American words we learned from the movie Dances with Wolves like tatonka.  We called it our rain dance and surprisingly it always rained within the day after our dance.  I only wish he was here now because we sure need rain and well, I miss him.

A floral pattern on the snapback and some big cubic zirconia studs were just what this outfit needed to give it a feminine touch.
