5 Crochet Projects On My To-Do List:
I have been working on a few crochet projects and in searching pinterest for a few techniques or patterns I have come up with a whole list of fun projects I wanted to make. I figured it would be fun to share (and I would love to see what anyone else is working on as well).
1. The Katniss Cowl. If you have seen the movie you know what I am talking about. If not, its just plain adorable. This free crochet pattern is calling to me. Find it on my pinterest .
2. The . Because its just fun. I want to make this for myself, and a for a photo prop.
3. The with braid. What kid wouldn’t love to have this in their dress up trunk? Also a without the Elsa hair is just as adorable.
4. This would be stunning over a wedding dress. Or I love the flowers and beads. This is way more intense than anything I have made, but I think it could be done.
5. This seems like it would be pretty simple. And pretty trendy. I am searching my jewelry box for a chain that would work for this. Boho yet sophisticated for the win.
One of my favorite yarn brands, Red Heart, has some exciting news to share. Red Heart has won the women’s choice award for the more recommended yarn brand in America. The award is based on a national survey of thousands of women across america, asking them to select brands that they would highly recommend to family and friends.
To celebrate this recognition, Red Heart is giving away a prize pack to our readers!
It has an approximate retail value of $50 and includes 10 skiens of yarn for your next 5 crochet (or knitting) projects. It includes:
3 Red Heart Sizzle
2 Red Heart Medley
2 Red Heart Boutique Swanky
2 Red Heart Boutique Sashay Boho
1 Red Heart Boutique Treasure
1 Red Heart Tote Bag

I don’t crochet but just started knitting in October. I really like it but have a lot to learn! Made a fox cowl but hated the ears so I took them off. Haha. Now I’m making something like an infinity scarf.
I’ve just picked up this craft again after 25+ years! I forgot how fun it is! Making baby props such as blankets, wraps & prop covers is my favorite item to make.
I try to crochet a little and that Elsa Crown looks amazing. I love to knit and the next knitting project I am doing is a bunny blanket buddy!
I can’t wait to see it! Send me pictures when its done.
I do crochet. I am making a shawl for my mom that’s in long term care.
I knit, and I am making this: http://www.redheart.com/files/patterns/pdf/LW4674.pdf with my redheart yarn already!
My Emily would love to win the yarn. She just started crocheting beret. This would be a great start to her collection of yarn and give her opportunity to work on other projects to learn the skill.
Yes! I crochet! I love to make bags and purses, especially with sequins, beads and silk yarn. Lovely giveaway!
I crochet and knit. Right now I’m making a blanket which should be done this time next century. I’ll be honest I am a foul weather crafter so if it’s sunny you’ll find me in my flower bed.
Ohhh I love crocheting, I really wished I hadnt stopped for so many years in my 20s. Currently working on a cream cowl pattern and researching fun new patterns for items to sell this fall.
I crochet and want to make a sweater.
i crochet and want to make a skirt.
I do crochet, and thanks for the pattern ideas. I havent seen that Elsa crown before and I definitely want to try the bracelet. I mainly do blankets, like granny squares but want to branch out and i think jewelry would be a great next step
