Creating doesn’t have to be expensive. For this project, I was determined not to spend a penny. Sometimes all you need is just a few supplies that you might find lying around. A simple frame+muslin+chalk= Easy Chalk Heart Art!
Items needed: a frame, muslin and chalk.
I took a frame that I had lying around and cut a square of muslin, then folded it into 4 and wrapped it around the glass that is in the frame. Put in the frame and stick the back on, then grab out the chalk and draw a heart.
Next I filled in the heart with chalk and traced around the outside a few times to make it darker to give it depth.
Lastly, I added a layer of white to divide it up! Pretty easy and cost nothing. I would say goal accomplished and love the way it turned out!
