Ballerina Fashionista: Tween Holiday Fashion

As the Holidays are approaching, I often become frantic trying to find the perfect Holiday dress.  In my family, it is customary for the girls to wear new dresses and the boys a new tie to Religious Services on Sunday before Christmas.  Often my new dress will accompany me to Holiday parties, so it is important to me to find a dress that is classy and elegant while maintaining some sense of simplicity.  I don’t want to look like I am going to prom or a swanky New Years party that an adult would attend.  On the flip side, I want my dress to look more mature than the current styles offered to younger girls.  You know the kind.  Usually some sort of plaid and velvet with a very long, poofy skirt.  Basically I am saying I have the hardest time trying to find the perfect Holiday dress that meets my standards.

While browsing Pinterest one day, I came across a pin for Miss Btween.  I went to their site and OMG!  I DIE!  Miss B features classic American prep style that is polished and traditional with a modern preppy twist.  Did I not just describe my own style?  I seriously wanted to buy up the whole store.  A chambray blazer!  KILL ME NOW!  But the real magic happened when I looked at the dress section.

There is was.  My Holiday dress.  Classy, elegant, and sensible.

From the moment I saw that package on my doorstep, I have been dying to wear my new dress.
