You guys! If you didn’t already know this, Brooke and I are not only writers for this blog and sister-in-laws (more like life long friends), but we also married into an insanely talented family and became cousins to the Lynch family. Yes, THOSE Lynches! Riker, Rydel, Rocky, Ross, Ryland, and adopted family member/awesome drummer, Ellington Ratliff.
I got to meet them for the first time just a few months ago. I remember giving my girls a talk beforehand about not being too star struck or “fan-like” because we were going to be spending the day with the family and band members. I’m not going to lie, we played it cool. Except for this one moment when I was trying to tell Ross a story and became this weird, giggly, little girl for a moment *facepalm.* Anyway, they are not only talented performers but they are the most down to earth people you will ever meet. They are super loving of their fans and call their fans family.
Just yesterday, R5 released their new single Smile. I love it! It’s got a catchy tune that will surely be played nonstop in our house. Pretty soon, I will be singing Smile during my daily shower because, ya know, EVERYONE sounds good in the shower :).
