Quick Tips: Healthy Snack Ideas

Healthy Snacks that are delicious and easy too

Does your child need to bring a healthy snack to school everyday? Are you into healthy eating and looking for new snack ideas to get you through the afternoon slump? I have you covered. Here is a list of 30 healthy snack combinations that are not only delicious, but easy too!

1. Grapes and cheese cubes. Stick them on a pretzel stick for a snack kabob!
2. Homemade Larabars/fig bars/homemade granola bars
3. Apples and strawberry yogurt for dipping
4. Homemade granola mixed with greek vanilla yogurt. Add some fruit on top to make it a parfait!
5. Melt shredded cheese over broccoli in the microwave
6. Veggies with ranch dressing or hummus for dipping
7. Celery with Peanut butter. Add raisins to make ants on a log!
8. Graham crackers smeared with peanut butter
9. Mixed Nuts
10. Apples dipped in peanut butter
11. Bananas drizzled with warm honey and sprinkled with a bit of cinnamon
12. Spread cream cheese on a slice of turkey and online casinos wrap around a sesame breadstick
13. Banana topped with vanilla or strawberry frozen yogurt (optional sprinkle with cereal)
14. Fill a waffle cone with cut up fruit. Top with vanilla or strawberry frozen yogurt if desired.
15. Dip a banana in yogurt, roll in crushed cereal and freeze
16. Make your own trail mix
17. Spread frozen yogurt on graham crackers and add sliced banana to make a sandwich
18. Make a green smoothie and freeze it. It will thaw by snack time.
19. Ritz or your favorite cracker and a laughing cow cheese wedge
20. Hard boiled eggs with salt and pepper
21. Olives and/or pickles drizzled with Italian dressing and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese
22. Spread peanut butter on a banana, drizzle with honey, and top with oats, raisins, and nuts
23. Fruit leather
24. Drizzle a slice of tomato with Italian dressing and top with shredded mozzarella cheese
25. Jerky and babybel cheese
26. Dried fruit (our family loves mango)
27. Air popped popcorn sprinkled with sea salt and/or grated parmesan cheese
28. Natural applesauce sprinkled with cinnamon
29. Pita chips with hummus
30. Rice cakes smeared with almond butterHealthy Snacks
